1 small parsnip (90g)
1 medium new potato (120g)

¼ x 120g pouch Wattie’s Apple, Blueberry & Strawberry
Christmas Dinner for Baby

Method

1. Peel the carrot, parsnip and potatoes; cut into small dice. Cook in a small pan of boiling water for 10 minutes. Add the broccoli and cook for a further 5 minutes or until all the vegetables are tender.
2. Drain the vegetables and return to the pan, mash until all lumps are small and soft. Add the turkey or chicken and Wattie’s Green Veggies pouch and a squirt of Wattie’s Apple, Blueberry & Strawberry (use instead of cranberry sauce) and stir through. Serve at room temperature or warmed.
3. If your baby has just started solids (around 6 months) puree the ingredients with a stick blender until smooth. For older babies (around 10-12 months old) chop the vegetables into small pieces before cooking until soft – maybe 1 cm dice. Then your little one can either feed themselves with finger food, or you can roughly mash the ingredients and feed with a spoon.
4. This will make a few portions depending on the age, stage of development and appetite of your baby. Refrigerate remaining portions for another meal or freeze in small portions for later use.
Tip!

Remaining pouch can be refrigerated for a later snack.
