Chicken, Sweetcorn & Mango Rice

Ingredients
¼ cup white rice
½ small zucchini, chopped
½ small carrot, chopped
1x 120g pouch Wattie’s® ForBaby Chicken, Sweetcorn & Mango

Method
1. Cook rice in a saucepan of boiling water for 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain.
2. Meanwhile combine zucchini and carrot in a small saucepan with just enough water to cover them. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 6-8 minutes until soft. Drain, reserving cooking water.
3. Combine 2 tablespoons of the cooked rice with the vegetables and 1-2 tablespoons of the cooking water. Using a handheld blender or food processor blend until a smooth puree is formed. Remove to a bowl and stir in the Wattie's® pouch.
4. Use a portion to feed baby, then refrigerate remainder for another meal, or freeze in portions for later use.

Tip!
Any remaining rice can be refrigerated for another meal, or freeze in small portions for later use.Rice can be set aside prior to pureeing and stirred into the pureed mixture at the end if baby is ready for a different texture.Try other vegetables like broccoli, pumpkin or sweet potato.
