Easy Vege Pasta

This pasta is great for sneaking extra veges into your little one's diet. The mild, sweet pumpkin and corn flavour will make it a fast favourite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup macaroni or other small pasta shapes
  • 1 can or jar Wattie's Pumpkin & Sweetcorn
  • 2-4 tbsp cheddar cheese

Method

1. Cook the pasta in a pot of water until it's tender. Drain it and add in the Wattie's Pumpkin & Sweetcorn. You can rinse the can out with a little bit of water and add this in too.

2. Heat the mixture until it is bubbling, then take it off the heat and stir in the grated cheese until it melts.

3. Once it's cooled you're ready to serve it. You can also pop the leftovers in the fridge. If you add a few tablespoons of milk when you're reheating it the pasta will stay nice and moist.
Tip!

For a stronger corn flavour you can add 1/4 to 1/2 of a cup of canned creamed corn to the macaroni along with the baby food.
