Peach Smoothie and Banana Smoothie

This is a smoothie of substance! Made with Watties 99% Fat Free Vanilla Creamed Rice, it’s a meal in itself – ideal when you haven’t got time to eat but need the energy.

Ingredients

  • Peach Smoothie
  • 220 g can Wattie's Creamed Rice 99% Fat Free Vanilla
  • 400 g can Wattie's Peaches Sliced in Light Syrup
  • juice of 1 orange
  • grated zest of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup peach or apricot yoghurt
  • 2 Tbsp honey

  • Banana Smoothie
  • 220 g can Watties Creamed Rice 99% Fat Free Vanilla
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup peach or apricot yoghurt
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp wheatgerm or ground almonds (optional)

Method

Peach Smoothie

1. Put the Wattie's 99.5% Fat Free Vanilla Creamed Rice and Wattie's Peaches Sliced in Light Syrup into a food processor or blender with the orange zest and juice, milk, peach or apricot yoghurt and honey and process until smooth. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge. Use within 2 days.

Banana Smoothie

1. Put the Wattie's 99.5% Fat Free Vanilla Creamed Rice into a food processor or blender with the banana, milk, peach or apricot yoghurt, honey and wheatgerm and process until smooth. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
