Talk about extended family – say hello to baby no. 17
Zynaida and Vladamir Chernenko of Sacramento have just welcomed their 17th child into the family. After initially struggling for 6 months to get the family started, it appears the Chernenko’s now have no problem and won’t rule out having more children.
‘I never thought I would have such a big family, but sincerely believe in God…my children are a gift from the Lord’ say the father of the large clan.
The family live together in a seven room house, using a 15 passenger bus to mobilise the family, enjoy sharing every meal together and attend church faithfully as a family.
In Sacramento the average family has 3.19 members, but stops counting additional family members after they reach seven members.
